In March 2011 Japan was struck by a catastrophic earthquake and tsunami which claimed over 15,000 lives and also resulted in many children losing their parents. As a result, a special fundraising effort was organised to support these orphans.
Aid For Japan was created as a support organisation designed to raise funds and awareness of the child victims of the 2011 tragedy. Arc23 were commissioned to build a brand for the charity which would deliver the message in a very clear, visually strong way. The project involved the building of a new website to cover news and event reports as well as special promotional items such as T-Shirts, flyers and badges.
The effort resulted in help being extended to the many orphans tragically deprived of their parents in Japan, including special visits to the UK for some of the children organised by Aid For Japan. The charity continues tirelessly working to raise funds for further help and assistance.
